Bernard Brogan and The Sam Maguire visit MHOC

MHOC had two very special visitors on November 18th 2015. Bernard Brogan, a member of the Dublin football panel which won the ‘All Ireland final 2015′ in Croke Park arrived to our school with the very important Sam Maguire cup.

Every class visited the halla to meet both Bernard Brogan and The Sam Maguire. It was a very exciting day for the school, especially for our very own Gaelic team as the girls got their hands on The Sam Maguire cup. These girls have done the school extremely proud this year as they also played in Croke Park this year in the Sciath Austin Finn Final. They are an amazing team and no doubt they will all be playing in Croke Park again in the future!!

Two of our Junior Journalists, R. Downey and S. Walsh, had the amazing opportunity to interview Bernard Brogan. This interview has been published in ‘The School Scoop’ MHOC newspaper. It’s well worth the read!! 🙂
