Moo Crew Competition!

The 5th Class girls have been busy taking part in the ‘Moo Crew’ competition. The Moo Crew has been a fun and educational way for the girls to learn about the importance of dairy as part of a balanced diet, an active lifestyle and where their food comes from!

The girls have wowed us and their community with their creative ways and illustrated what they learned about dairy and a healthy balanced lifestyle.

The Moo Crew is supported by The National Dairy Council, The Primary Dairy MOOvement and The European Union.

We really enjoyed completing the lessons, watching the videos and we were inspired by Derval O’Rourke.

The Moo Crew inspired us all to get out and get MOOving!!

Good luck to both 5th Classes who entered the ‘Moo Crew’ poster competition!

As part of our SPHE programme,  we have been learning about the growth and development of babies. Last Friday, 17th April, 3rd class were really lucky to have some very special visitors.

Ms. Harold visited prefab 8 with 3 month old Stanley and his 3 year old sister, Alexandra.

Ms. Kavanagh and 16 month old Tamara were welcomed by the girls in prefab 7.

We had questions already prepared and each girl got to ask our mothers a question. They kindly answered all of our queries, making us a lot more knowledgeable. Stanley, Tamara and Alexandra were very well behaved!
